Auction Description
Fire Damaged Stock of MS Scrap
Special Condition
1. The people coming for the scrap removal and supervision must have safety gear, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and other equipment as required by law.
2. An appropriate insurance policy that covers all kinds of risks for the Personnel involved in clearing the scrap lying around the debris of the
building, to the extent of a minimum 20 lacs per person, must be submitted along with the payment.
3. The winning bidder must provide a legally binding undertaking stating that they will be solely responsible for any legal liabilities and/or any other social responsibility claims that may arise while handling & clearing the scrap. Shri Padhmam Industries, shall in no way be held responsible for these claims, and that the buyer shall indemnify the seller against any damages legally raised against the seller on account of the seller's activity in clearing and handling the scrap.
4. It shall be the responsibility of the required permissions from the Puducherry Pollution Control Board, Bahour Commune Panchayat, IOF or any other department that may be legally necessary for handling and clearing the scrap from a factory classified as orange category.
5. The scrap must be handled and cleared from our factory without disturbing the sensitive neighbors/society around.
We reiterate that the above conditions are sine-qua-non and must be followed in letter and spirit, given the facts that we are primarily responsible for all legal consequences, we have another unit functioning across the road less than 100mts away and any trouble will badly affect our operations there.
6. The quantity of the MS/SS/Plastic scrap provided is for Plant & Machinery only and not for the building. In other words, steel scrap from the roof truss of the building, damaged pillars, etc., are not part of items being auctioned now.
7. The quantities of scrap provided are only the approximate weight of Plant & Machinery as given by the respective suppliers at the time of their supplies.
